Something Happened On Saturday

Julius Redillas, Filipino artist in residence from December 5, 2023 to January 31, 2024, will present his new exhibition SOMETHING HAPPENED ON SATURDAY, on Friday January 26 at 6:30 pm, on the occasion of the exhibition opening. In SOMETHING HAPPENED ON SATURDAY, Julius Redillas will present a series of paintings and works on paper based on the story of Kabunyian, drawn from Philippine folklore, and the legend of Mélusine. He fuses these cultural narratives around Filipino and La Rochelle creations. This exhibition marks the culmination of a two-month artistic residency at the Centre Intermondes in La Rochelle.
