PieR Gajewski

As part of PARP 2024, PieR Gajewski will spend two months in Manila. During this residency, the artist aims to create a graphic and personal portrait of the city, using drawing as a tool for bearing witness. His project involves exploring several aspects of Manila: architecture, landscapes, culture, traditions and intangible memories. The emphasis is on creating unique works to contrast with the creation made by AI, hoping to preserve the authenticity and humanity of drawing. The project will also have a documentary and narrative dimension, telling the visual stories of the places visited.
